That done I travelled around the world and in 1990 ended up in Perth for the windsurfing. I was young enough for that to be a good enough reason to stay, not that you need a reason to stay in Perth. I now have a beautiful wife and family.  I try to practice what I preach and believe in a healthy work life balance. I still kitesurf, but when it’s not windy I can be found at Perth medical centre as one of the 3 principals.  We have a large number of professional men on our books who, speaking as one, are not typically good at seeking healthcare; I consider this a mission to improve these statistics.  I also have an interest in mental health, chronic disease, skin cancer surgery, paediatrics, antenatal and family planning.
